Im 41 male, suppose I'm slightly a few pounds overweight but not obese. It all started over a year and a half ago.
I've had the same symptoms the entire time.
Indigestion, I feel like I need to burp all the time, as soon as I wake and throughout the day, but i am incapable of burping have been my whole life (I know weird). Ive never really suffered heart burn. Gassy at times, and gurgling stomach noises, especially within minutes of eating or even during. And yes I chew my food thouroghly and slowly making sure I'm not gulping air. I have this feeling in my upper left abdomen, just under my rib line. I hate to call it pain because it isn't painful just uncomfortable and almost always noticeable. At times I have mild lower back aches, and mild pain behind both, but not necessarily at the same time, shoulders. They don't seem to coincide with the upper left abdominal discomfort. I feel lightheaded most of the time some days worse than others, but not to the point of dizziness. My skin feels itchy a lot. My stool is sometimes normal consistency and color, but mostly it is formed but very soft, sometimes lighter brown almost yellowish at times, 50/50 it will float or sink, doesn't ever appear fatty, occasional diahrea with mucous, but never constipated, and never clay, blood, or tarry. Urine has been darker than usual, but not brown, orange, or pink. Urine frequency is normal, no pain or burning, no dribble or discharge.
I've been to see doctors I don't know how many times, I've had I don't know how many blood and urine tests, 2 ultra sounds, a ct scan, nothing shows up out of the ordinary. My diet is actually pretty good especially in the last year and a half, no soda, I have a beer or 2 a week on average. I have gone 100% gluten free a couple of times once for 30 days with no improvement, I have tried a corn free diet for 2 weeks with no improvement. I've been tested for celiac, and dairy intolerance, negative. I'm not diabetic.
Doctors don't have a clue, they guess IBS. I just don't buy that. All meds prescribed for IBS have had no effect.
At first I would scour the internet hoping to find answers only to become freaked out that it was pancreatic or some other form of cancer, so I stopped looking long ago. I suppose this inquiry is a form of that but just wondering if anyone else has suffered similarly and found answers.
