I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH LUMPS UNDER SKIN THAT ARE CAUSING A LOT OF PAIN. I HAD 7 REMOVED JULY 2008 AND THEY SAID JUST LIPOMAS. THEY ARE RAPIDLY MULTIPLYING INCLUDING THE AREAS WHERE THEY WERE REMOVED. I HAVE BACK PAIN, SHOULDER AND ARM PAIN, THIGH PAIN, ARM AND FINGER PAIN. THE WORSE PAIN IS IN MY HIPS. I HAVE THESE LUMPS IN ALL THESE AREAS. I AM CONSTANTLY TIRED ALL THE TIME AND THE MORE STRESSED I GET THE MORE I HURT. MY HAND ARE WEAKER THAN BEFORE USE TO HAVE STRONG GRIPS BUT NOT ANYMORE. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE OUT THERE MIGHT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. MOST PEOPLE JUST THINK IT IS CRAZY.

Three possibilities are there for your symptoms.Firstly,it can be Lipomatosis, a hereditary condition where multiple lipomas present on the body.Second possibility is of Adiposis dolorosa (Dercum disease), a rare condition involving multiple painful lipomas, swelling, and fatigue. It is generally seen in obese, postmenopausal women.Third possibility is of
Benign symmetric lipomatosis (Madelung disease), another condition involving lipomatosis. It nearly always appears in middle-aged males after many years of alcoholism, although non-alcoholics and females can also be affected.

NO THE DOCS HAVE NOT MENTIONED YET BUT HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH AND RIGHT NOW IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES SENSE. I CAN'T GET IN TO SEE RHEUMO DOC UNTIL END OF OCT BUT HERE SHE IS VERY GOOD. WE WILL SEE. I AM A NURSE AND I WORK AROUND DOCS EVERYDAY AND THEY TO ARE PUZZLED BUT TRYING TO BE HELPFUL. I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN SO THEY ARE NOT EXPOSED AS MUCH. WELL THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE.
