Might be a possibility. I would make an appointment with the doctor and tell him or her all your symptoms and all you are experiencing. He or she might order an MRI to check for lesions on the brain. I have MS and that is how i found out about my condition. Numbness is a symptom of MS. I don't experience any numbness but my legs at times feel very heavy and have some difficulty in walking. I am 40 and was diagnosed shortly after my 35 th birthday. Yeah! Happy Birthday to me, fo sho.
There are other possibilities, including, but not limited to Parkinson's.
I'm sure you have seen physician's concerning this. What is their opinion?
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There are many causes of unexplained fall. One is that the proprioceptive receptors of foot are at fault and they are not able to take in the variation in the floor. However, this seems unlikely in your case, unless you have high blood sugar or hypothyroidism affecting the nerve endings. The other possibility is an internal ear problem. It an also be due to pinched cervical spinal nerve. Brain injuries, tumors, transient ischemic attacks and bleed in the brain have to be ruled out in your case. It can also be a vasovagal attack. Hypoglycemia, severe anemia and vasovagal attacks are common causes of such falls. It can also be MS but other causes need to be ruled out. It can also be a sleep related disorder with extreme sleep deprivation.
Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
