why is my temp so low and why do i feel so bad?

I have had a sore throat for the last week, Last night my temp has dropped from the 98's to the 95's, my chest is heavy, my throat is itchy, a lot of mucus in my throat, I started coughing last night but nothing is coming up, I have no energy and I am achy. Is this just a cold?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Chills are felt when a fever is about to start in case of malaria and bacterial infections due to release of toxins. One can also feel chilled if you are about to break into viral fever. This could be the cause in your case as you also have sore throat. Take sips of warm lemonade or warm soup and consult a doctor. Take care!

If your temp really is that low it's not normal and you do need to bring it up gradually and go see a doctor hope you feel better

If that temp is accurate then you might have hypothermia. If you had hypothermia you would actually feel cold. You might need some warming blankets. Better go to the doctor. Take care.
