Bladder not emptying

I am having difficulty beginning urination and then completely voiding the bladder. I have considerable constipation and it feels as though there is a connection there that the constipation is affecting the voiding of the bladder. Could the full intestine be pressing on the bladder?

Thank you Ron. I know that has to be the case. Things have started moving and my bladder is working better. I started using softeners.

Hi,

The prostate and rectum are very close together and it is possible that stool could be pressing up against the prostate restricting the flow of urine.

I myself right now have a connection inbetween the prostate and rectum. So tis gives you an idea as to how close the area is.

For quite some time now I have had  difficult times distinguishing between the sensation of urination or bowel movements.

Perhaps a change of diet might give some relief.

Good luck,

Ron
