Forekin laceration

I recently had sex with my girlfriend and seem to have cut my foreskin; what can i do to prevent an infection? Should i just buy Carbon Peroxide or go to my physician?

I think bacitracin works a little better than neosporin.  Keeping the area clean and avoiding sex until it heals would definetly be advisable. If it doesn't heal well or becomes concerning for any reason, see your doctor ASAP.
Practicing safe sex, though, is always the best policy.

It most certainly is not an STD, we have both been to the doctor and have received the STD exam and we are both clean. i received the laceration during sex last night.

would you reccommend using neosporin?

Your profile says you're 17.  I'm going infer your girlfriend is around the same age.  You don't mention how long you've been together, if you been practicing safer sex.  I think it would be wise to see your doctor and let him check it out.  It could just be a cut or it could  be an STD  like herpes.  I wouldn't take a chance with your reproductive health. And your girlfriend should get checked out as well.  Is there a chance you may have cut it yourself?  I don't think I'd put peroxide on it; I would think that would be very likely to sting.

Get yourself to a doctor and find out for sure what's going on for sure.
