Prostatitis or something else?

hi,

7 weeks ago, I had 3 encounters with a CSW, where i received oral sex (twice with protection, the third time I'm not 100% sure if I had protection or not).  I posted some queries on the Sti forum of this site and received some very helpful responses.  To summarise, I tested negative for Gonnhorea and Chlamydia.  My urine does not show any signs of infection (i.e. clear of Leukocytes).  My penis glans is extremely dry and a little sensitive since these episodes 7 weeks ago.  I have tried canestan cream 2% w/w for 2 weeks (3 times daily) and feel that this may have exasberated the problem... i then tried hydrocortisone cream 1% and E45 (3 times daily) but stopped this after about 3 days as I wasn't sure it was the right thing to do.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  No discharge, no discomfort urinating, colour of urine is normal.

How are you now?  You don't really describe symptoms of prostatitis. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/prostatitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20355766  You're talking about the skin of your penis. Correct? This is how they test for it, so you can ask your doctor if this is still going on. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/prostatitis/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20355771

Thanks for the above response. Significantly better but the tip of the penis (surrounding the meatus) still looks occasionally “angry”! Wrinkled and red. My Gp prescribed me a 1% hydrocortisone gel and a moisturiser… using it now these past 2 weeks… he reckons it’s a form of dermatitis. I’m awaiting full Sti test results to rule out anything else. Fingers crossed there is nothing there and that this is all now just a skin condition/dermatitis.
Hey man, do you have any updates? I'm having the same symptons: continuous pain at the meatus, red colour around it and it looks "angry" and wrinkled as you said.
