I am a 20 year old male and have had problems with my stomach and rectum for what I can remember of about most my life. Before reading please keep in mind that I was raised by a dad who, well, doesn't "believe" in Doctors and tends to be very stubborn in seeing them. Aside from him I myself am typically a very happy person, but have CONSTANT anxiety which tends to trigger my stomach with it. Also as a side note I have had surgery for A Hernia on my Groin / lower stomach and Appendicitis.
So I'll start from the beginning. When I was in middle school I would wake up in the mornings feeling sick and very nauseous like I was about to throw up and wouldn't be able to eat or have the appetite to until I would be getting out of school. I would also notice my BM's weren't normal, instead I constantly had diarrhea when going to the bathroom. Somedays I would rush to the bathroom expecting to unload, and instead only have a mucus discharge. Sometimes I would be in the bathroom 5-10 times a day with this happening. Very often when attempting or after going to the bathroom I would have blood as well, sometimes even dripping heavily into the toilet, but always red. These problems carried with me throughout high school, however the blood would sometimes stop for a month or so but ALWAYS come back.
Fast forward to now and I still have ALL of these problems. In fact I instead developed a new problem with a small hole right above my rectum only being separated by a piece of skin about an 1/8" thick. I went to a doctor and he told me it was an internal hemorrhoid and not to worry, however it scares me it's so close to my rectum and it's just another problem to go hand in hand with the previous list. I realize this is a wide assortment of symptoms and I plan on finding a specialist soon, but I could really use some insight as I'm truly terrified to finally go in on my own without at least an idea of what this all could be..
Please feel free to ask questions and thank you all for taking your time to read this!
