Lump On the penis

recently  my friend noticed he has some little lumps around the penis,,he said it had been there for 2 years and he doesn't feel any pain when he touches it. He said it happen after he was masturbating and accidentally had a cut on the penis, and after the wound was heal he began having the little lumps. What kind of disease could it be?

Hi,

This may be scar tissue considering he had a history of mildly injuring himself in the area.

I suggest he has this initially assessed by a urologist. In the absence of a deformity during an erection and pain in the area, then Peyronie's disease may be ruled out. This may not be something urgent and there seems to be no cause of worry here. The lump has been present for the past two (is this correct?) years and the lump has not changed in its appearance or character.

Just tell your friend to avoid unnecessarily manipulating the area as this may irritate the skin.

no, only on the penis. it's not painful and he has no problem with sexual response.

Hi,

Does your friend have other lesions in the body?

Is the lump painful?

Is there any associated problems with sexual response like deformities and pain with erection?

Differentials in this case will be Peyronie's disease and a keloid formation. Peyronie's disease may present wih lumps in the penis that may be brought about by mehanical injury among other causes. However this is just a differential.A consultation with a urologist will be able to help ascertain the underlying cause.
