Pelvis and scrotal pain

Hi, It all started one year back. I'm 30 years of age now. I started experiencing very minute pain/discomfort just above my penis. Prior this occurrence of pain, I had some kind of clear discharge only for once. Earlier the discomfort was very minimal but it has increased over the last year. I consulted the doctor immediately who said it might be UTI and gave me antibiotics. Since I was not satisfied with the result of the antibiotics, I consulted a surgeon, a urologist and a dermatologist about the problem (even though I don't have sexual history). After a series of tests were done for all STDs, chlamydia, urine test and complete pelvis and scrotal scan (ultrasonography), everything was normal. I went back to my old doctor who said that he suspects I have acute prostratitis. He put on antibiotics course for 1 month. The pain mollified a bit but now the pain/discomfort is more in the scrotum. I have also noted that my semen quantity has decreased a lot. Any idea what can be the problem?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include chronic infections, inflammations, injuries, trauma, growths, referred pain from other regions etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

Most of the doctors say I don't have anything. It is normal. Then why do I feel discomfort?
