Penis hurts after catheter removal

Hello,

Two weeks ago I had a catheter inserted for around 4 days. It's been 2 and a half weeks since then, and since it's removal I have had pain on the underside of my penis with erection. Is this normal?

Thanks

Hello, just following up:
I went to the family doctor and they said it was a yeast infection. I've been applying the clotrimazole cream for 6 days now, however, when I look I don't see any infection. The surface of my skin is pain free and the pain seems to be internal.

Is it possible there has been tissue trauma to the urethra and does anybody know what that feels like / how long it takes to heal

I had a urine test but have not heard anything back yet.

Thanks

i've   had an  foley installed in my penis Wednesday and Friday night & I had an hard time sleeping,I had to get it removed that Friday, but since then the inside of my penis is very sore & for some reason I have to pee every 5-10 mins & I have to bare down hard to get it out & I suppose to go to my urologist on Monday, so TRUMA TO MY TISSUE around the urethra sounds right to me.It's a dull pain Anyone knows what I can do about the pain or do I have to wait untl my appointment on Monday?
