Does anyone here know what this could be?
I still have not been to see the doctor yet, but another thing I noticed for the first time today is..
when I get an erection, it has always been normal until today everything was normal up to where the lump is. Forward of that, (i.e.. the head) was not properly full, or hard like usual. It's as if the lump has cut the blood flow into the head. It's a very strange feeling to have a normal erection, but the head itself is not properly erect. It's always been the other way round for me. The head gets larger, then the shaft.
I also noticed the head is pointing to the left a bit as well as being soft. when I squeeze, it does push blood into the head and makes it look normal, but when I let go it goes back to being limp in the head itself.
Please help, I'm panicking.
Thank you
Hey Jon!
Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include cysts, warts, fibrosis, growths from the subcutaneous tissue etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. This should not be anything to be embarrassed about; these are normal parts of the human body and regular issues related to them.
Hope this is helpful.
Take care!
Hi, thanks so much for the reply. I really appreciate your time.
I have an appointment scheduled at a "urology consultant" (is that the same as a "urologist"?) but the earliest they could see met as at the end of next month.
The anxiety this is causing is almost unbearable. I'm sick with worry. Not really sure how I'm going to cope for the next 6 weeks.
I have other symptoms that may or may not be related, but if you could please let me know what you think, whether it's good or bad, I'd be so grateful.
Current status:
So as of now, it has definitely grown more since my first post. It's now definitely restricting my urine flow, and is a bit larger than when I first posted here almost 6 weeks ago.
It doesn't feel like one lump now, but more of a lumpy area surrounding the urethra right underneath the glans.
It's still completely painless
Other symptoms, possibly related, and possibly not:
1. I've had issues with urgency to urinate and frequency for at least 5 or 6 years now. If I hold on too long, it's very difficult to get the flow going, and quite painful.
2. I have had a small bump that looked like a skin colored mole (slightly darker than the surrounding skin) just above the base of my penis for a really long time. I always thought it was a mole.. It's not ON the penis, but rather right where the penis joins the pelvis.
Anyway, that started getting larger about 8 months ago I guess.. then next to it, I noticed several other lumps like it starting to form. The original one has grown larger and I now have quite a few, maybe 8 or so in that area. They are all only slightly raised and slightly darker than the skin.
I'm 99% sure that they're warts. I'm confounded as to how I would have gotten them though, because I've only ever had 2 sexual partners (the second, being my current girlfriend) and neither had HPV or warts that I know of. I have not seen a doc about this, but plan to ask the urologist about it.
3. I have been experiencing a lack of interest in sex. And, because I'm not as aroused as I should be, it's more difficult to get hard and stay hard.
But then I'll have a week or so where I'm back to normal, and very aroused, and everything is normal. It's been like this, on and off for about the last 12 months or so.
4. I have high blood pressure. I'm on medicine for that, so it's usually normal, but without medicine, or if I forget to take it, I'm anywhere from 140/90 - 160/100
I really am so anxious about this, if you can make any sense of this at all it would make a big difference.
Much appreciated.

if you got info about the cause and treatment of the problem please assist me....got the same problem but mine its at early stages
Hey, I have had the started small lump inside my penis for 2-1/2yrs. I have never talked to a Dr. about it. (have an appt. in 5 days) I have done plenty of research, but have no definitive answers. I have had serious problems with urination. I work 90 mi. from home and I have pissed my pants a few times because I just could not hold it. Other times I have problems going. This problem has absolutely destroyed my sex life with my girlfriend of 17 years. My dis-interest in sex combined with the stress of always having it in the back of my mind to haunt my worst fears has taken quite a toll on me to say the least. I am currently packing my things and planning to move out and be on my own soon. since your post is old, do you have any info that might be helpful to me ? That would be awesome. please help...
Go to the doctor!!!!!! Why are you relying on strangers on the internet? Because you're afraid of what a professional who looks at this stuff all day and couldn't care less about seeing one more penis???? Grow a pair or lose a pair.
Did you ever find out what the issue was? I may have the same thing and it's making me nervous I have a serious cancer or something.
Have you injured your groin in the past? Direct injury to your penis? Have you ever felt a pop sensation in your penis? With the curvature you mentioned it sounds kind of like peyronies disease. Just a thought hope it helps good luck!
