Hello,
From the symptoms urge incontinence needs to be ruled out. It is is leakage of urine due to bladder muscles that contract inappropriately. It can be due to bladder inflammation , infection, obstruction, bladder outlet obstruction or bladder stones.
Diagnostic tests that may be performed include Urinalysis, Urine culture, X-rays of the kidneys, post voidal residual volume, urodynamic studies, Cystoscopy, IVP, Abdominal ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
I will be 29 in a few months, I have also suffered from frequent and urgent urination for several years, and cannot even jump rope or have a forceful sneeze without trouble. Have you had any children? Sometmes giving birth can really change your bladder control. Also, my doctor suggested doing kegal exercises on a daily basis. Otherwise, I am still looking over my solutions. I did notice, however, that when I began having trouble with kidney stones, I also, began feeling even more urgency to urinate and even........embarassing but true.............wet the bed and even wet myself while in the grocery store because I couldn't make it to the restroom. However, during that time and also to this day, I cannot fully empty my bladder, causing pain and discomfort.
