Why am I experiencing flank pain so bad.

I went to the er on Jan 13 and it’s now Jan 29. I have an 8mm stone left kidney mid pol according to the cat scan. Does anyone know why I am experiencing this pain after the urologist and we told me the stone wasn’t causing the pain? I can’t understand the pain only subsided a few days in between and is now back full force.

I'd suggest another visit to the ER, pronto.  It sure sounds like it's kidney-related, and could be either the stone or a kidney infection.  I would definitely want a second opinion on that, but for sure get tested for a possible infection.
