Strange need to urinate

Hello there :) I have had this "problem" for less than a year, and it bugs me all the time, getting on my nerves frequently, though not causing any discomfort. It all started one day after i masturbated. I have had this weird sensation to urinate which feels like tickling inside the urethra (not in the penile region but more like in the prostate region). It happens sometimes when i change my position, when i strain to cough, i get tickling, and then i have to urinate and expel whatever i have in the bladder. I never let out a few drops but sometimes a smaller, sometimes a normal amount of urine. The sensation is similar to that after ejaculation, a bit of tickling until the urine washes the semen away. After i ejaculate, it does not seem to change, but it does delay my need to urinate more often, which is good. In the morning, when i wake up, i have to wait a little bit for the stream to start, like my muscles are contracting and then letting it go. Let me say that there is no change in the stream, especially when the bladder is full (after i wait a little bit, the bladder gets filled more and i expel a normal amount of urine, with no difficulties). I have visited 3 urologists. One elegantly told me "go to the psychologist." The other one talked to me normally and told me to do blood and urine check, the whole tract ultrasound, which came back normal! Everything seems to be in perfect order. I was also told to do the anaerobic bacteria check (chlamydia, ureaplasma and mycoplasma). Everything was negative. My girlfriend at the time did her check and she was negative too. The girlfriend after her (my current one) did a check and she was fine too! Ultrasound showed no kidney, no bladder, no seminal vesicle and no prostate problems. The third urologist told me the same as the second one and prescribed Prostamol Uno for 3 months, which i am still on. The medicine maybe, but i am not sure, has made my stream better in the morning.

What do you say?

Hello,
Uroflowmetry a test that measures the volume of urine released (excreted) from the body, the speed with which it is excreted, and how long the excretion takes. There is no pain. You are to urinate in a special urinal or toilet with a machine that has a measuring device. The machine measures and gives a report after you finish urinating.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and God bless.

Hi,
In view of your symptoms, there’s a possibility of you suffering from stress incontinence and in this the stress which can come with cough and the feelings one gets is similar to those after ejaculation. I’ll suggest getting an uroflowmetry which is a test which assesses the pressures within the urinary bladder. Please consult a urologist and discuss these options. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
