Hi,

I'm a 46 y/o male who lost one testicle in 2000 due to a staph infection.
I can only go by what the urologist told that fertility can be good with just one testicle.
The reason that it does not apply to me is due to the fact that I lost the testicle as a complication from a vasectomy.

I know of at least one other male friend of my wife's and I who had conceived a child after having lost a testicle after cancer.

All the best.

Dear Dr. Singh,

I'm living in the Middle east and you might be aware of the medical facilities offered here; very expensive and also not the latest one.
However I'll consult Dr. here and will let you know what he thinks can be done.

I have a question, at this stage is my undescended testicle adding to fertility? and if its removed by surgery will have affect on my fertility. I do feel that I'm little weak in sperms and sexual health. Can anything be done for that?

Hello,
I f an adult discovers that he has an undescended testis, moving the testis into the scrotum at this point will not improve fertility levels.  In adult men, an undescended testis is usually surgically removed as there’re increased chances of development of tumor in the undescended testis.
I sincerely hope that helps. Please do keep me posted. Warm regards.
