Urethrea Stent

How does a urethrea stent help with incontinence?

I had a stent inserted when I had a stone lodged in my ureter.  It was shattered with lithotripsy and about a month later, my urologist removed the stent.  It is not used for incontinence.

I hope this helps.

Hi there gran 1937.  I feel you may get more information on the Urology forum but you could also post on the Dr forums of both Urology and Urogynecology.  I dont have any personal experience of a urethral stent but if you need any further information and need to come back to me I will do some research for you.

Good luck with this.
