intermittent testicular pain

I have a 4 1/2 yr. old who has all of the sudden been complainig about this pain in is scrotum area.  The pain is sharp and comes and goes.  This occurs about 3-5 times a day sporatically.  He doesn't have a UTI.  His testicle isn't torsed.  He doesn't have a hernia.  He moves his bowels without a problem.  I just can't find out what else it could be!!!! PLEASE HELP!!

Hi,

your son is quite young yet to have problems like this. There could be many different causes for this. Some may include epdidymitis or orchitis, however that usualy happens to older males.

It is best to consult with a urologist. They might be able to give him an ultra sound to determine any abnormalities.

Hello,

Have you taken him to see a urologist?  It may be a good idea just to rule everything out.
I hope your little guy is feeling better.
