Sudden onset soreness in left testicle. Shocks to the left side of abdomen

Last night I noticed that I had a fair amount of pain (5/10) in my left teste as I laid in bed. It was giving periodic shocks to the left side of my abdomen, the shocks fading in pain the further away from the original area they get. I went to the bathroom just fine, albeit with some pain when I walk. I managed to get to sleep and expected it to be gone in the morning, but it is still there. I have noticed that the nut in question (left) does seem to hang a little lower, and feels a little heavier (though I could simply be imagining that). I also have a small sick feeling in my tummy, I'm unsure if this is related.

Any idea on what this could be/what I can do to ease the pain?
