testis pain and small lump

Hi, i am a 20 year old male with a very healthy body. Recently i found a very very small lump on the back top on my right testicle next to the epidiymis the it hurts when touched. My question is that what might this small lump might be and i also heard the testicular cancer lumps happens to lay in front of the testicle and they are the size of a pea and the lump that i have is much more smaller then a pea  ( i have no family history of testicular cancer or any other cancer thank god).

Thanks for taking time to read my question

Regards
John

Hello,
This testicular lump can be an infected hair follicle, infected sebaceous cyst, hydrocele, sprmatocele, loop of bowel from a hernia or infections of the testicles. At such a young age with no other symptoms ,testicular cancer is rare.

Most likely it looks like an infected hair follicle, but if it deep inside the testicles, then other possibilities have to be ruled out.Pls consult a urologist and get an examination done.

Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
