tissue damage

I hope an expert can offer some advise

Im 28 fit but smoke both cigerettes and canabis . About 3 months ago I went through a stage of chronic masturbation for 2/3 weeks after splitting with a gf. One night I did it until my penis felt numb, over the next few days it shriveled very small and flt cold, ached, I could not get an erection at all. I went to my gp and she pretty much laughed me away. My penis was painfull and had definatley changed I am 100% sure it was not a mental thing (then at least)

It did get better after about 2 weeks of total rest (It didnt work anyway) . When it did work I was extremely excited and used it again for about 2 weeks (not excessivly though). Then for a few mornings I woke up with extremely strong and quite painfull erections, these went away after a while but my penis felt wrong.  Its didnt look or feel as bad as it had the weeks before but it didnt work, again felt shriveled and cold and I couldnt get any sort of erection. Those strong erections stopped after a few days but now im in a limbo of nothingness. My penis doesnt really feel anything, it doesnt really get hard, morning noon or night although it does sometimes (but not very strong)

I did not worry I just thought rest was the answer so for the past 2 and a half months that is what I have done. I went to the GUM clinic for std test etc which were all fine. i asked the doctor there about it and he felt my penis and said he could not feel what he thought it might be and said not to worry. So I tried not to

The problem is it has not got better at all , I get a semi in the morning both not strong and sometimes get a semi during the day but never at my command. I do not masturbate anymore and try not to touch or do anything to it. I have a supporting girl that i see and so I really dont think its mental. I still horney most of the time which makes it worse. My mind is turned on but nothing happens.

After reading, posting and more reading I have un scientifically dianogiesed myself .... not wise i know. But I think i may have caused tissue damage to it or that is my belief any way.

I have booked to see a urologist in a week or so  but want to understand as much as I can so I can ask all the right questions.

Could someone advise me on tissue damage.. Im really worried that it will never heal? Iv read that a few times could someone tell me if that is correct? and what is the best thing to try to do about it...

Any good advise would be appreciated

regards

hi please help Im lost... I went to a private urologist at kings cross london dr muir who examined me and said everything looked fine and that there was no damage as he could see.

he basically thought it was in my mind and prescribed me calis to take 3 times a week for a month...

I started to take it (and had not been masterbating) and great it was back I thought all my problems were over...

problem is I went a had an all day entertainment with a young lady friend of mine on saturday where I probably ejaculated 4/5 times in about 6-8 hours. The next day I woke a things didnt quite feel right ... now 3 days later they are back to how it was Ive even taken half a 20mg calis every day and it doesnt work...

surely this isnt in my mind ... I was overjoyed at it all working again I wasnt expecting it to go bad...! but it seems when ever I use it, it seems to damage it

whats wrong...... i just dont know

Im going for a blood and urine test tomorrow to check testosterone ect

any advice is appreciated

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

It is possible that the problem may just be aggravated by the stress you have been going through.

Yes, trauma to the penis does cause tissue damage, but this is not usually seen with vigorous masturbation or sex.

If you have been referring to priapism, since you claim to be semierect in the mornings and later in the day, it may be of the low-flow or high-flow type.

High-flow is usually caused by trauma and is due to the formation of a fistula.

It is also possible that you may have smoked more than usual in the duration since the break-up and have caused nicotine related damage to the nerve supply of the penis.

Supplementation with vitamin B-complex helps to treat peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorder) caused or augmented by nicotine use.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
