A Wii

Question

Finally DH bought a wii for me. Unfortunately I don't get to touch it until Christmas. Hopefully there will be a wii fit for me under the tree as well. Hoping to get the Jillian Michaels workout as well. Looks interesting. Going to the gym after I get off of work. Thats the plan. The bed is really trying to tempt me, but I really need to get my workout in. Then errands, then sleep and work another 12 hours tonight. It never ends. LOL!

I know the feeling girl, I am in the same shoes as you. Got the Wii for the kids and "santa" got the wii fit for me, but I have to wait until christmas for mine too : ( ....It could be worse, it could still be July and we knew that we were going to wait for a  few months instead of days.

Well they are around $300.  I can't wait to play mine and I think my mother in law is getting me a wii fit so I am super excited.

A Wii is a  video game system like a nintendo or atari.  The Wii is different becuase it actually involves action to play.  The Wii Fit is a board that you balance on and run and helps keep track of your fitness and weight loss.  They have games such as boxing that require you to actually box with a controller in your hands to use the game.  It is not the normal sit down in front of the tv and play video games.  You actually have to get involved.  HOpe this helps.

May I ask...what is a Wii?  I know it is a computer system...correct?  How does it fit in to exercising?  It has exercise videos?  Sorry to sound so naive!!!

Just keep going - Christmas isn't that far off now and you are already doing so good with your weight loss, don't stop and wait for the Wii!!  You'll enjoy it that much more when you get it.
