Some of the main symptoms of hypothyroidism are weight gain/inability to lose, fatigue/tiredness, constipation, always cold, heavy or irregular menstrual periods, puffy face, hands, feet, muscle/joint ache/pain, dry skin and hair, brittle fingernails, hair loss or losing the outer portion of the eyebrows. There are others, as well. It often affects each of us differently, so there may be symptoms that I get and you might not, you get that I might not. Your doctor should order the tests listed above.

What type of exercises are you doing? For how long each day? How many calories are you eating each day and what type of foods?
Have you had your thyroid checked to make sure you don't have hypothyroidism? Hypothyroidism is a major cause of weight gain/inability to lose weight. Ask your doctor to test TSH, Free T3 and Free T4.
