If you workout, drink at least 15-25 glasses. If you don't, drink at least 13.
64 FL oz is a good starting point
There's no set amount; we all need a different amount.
Water will help keep you feeling fuller, so it's good to drink as much as you can. Staying hydrated is necessary for good health.
Make sure it's iced because iced water can help speed up your metabolism
Im more worried about shutting my kidneys down from to much water I drink closer to 2 gallons of water a day and im not super active
It's true that too much water can hurt you... if you're spreading your water intake over the entire day, you're not likely to harm yourself. But if you're drinking it all at once, you could.
While water is good for you... I have to ask why you drink that much? Are you extra thirsty or are you merely doing it for weight loss? If you're that thirsty, you should get checked out for diabetes, as excessive thirst is a major symptom. If you're doing it for weight loss, that's just as dangerous, as you might not be getting enough calories if you're drinking that much water.
