I know it is Christmas...but I am headed for South Beach

I just want to report how thrilled I am with the south beach diet!  It has been a real struggle for me to lose weight the past year or two.  And, not only losing weight, but Gaining a tremendous amount!

I tried so many other plans with no success...a friend of mine told me about South Beach...and I said, "hey!  that is one that I haven't tried yet!"...so, even though I was skeptical I bought the book...Here I am 12 pounds lighter and feeling great!

what I like most about the South Beach plan, is that there is no counting calories or points....I am a big eater, and the fact that I could indulge "just a little" without hurting the program was great for me!

Just wanted to share this with all of you!!!

I haven't actually bought the SB food yet....I have been doing my own.  But I did reintroduce wraps into my diet by eating the low carb ones.

Thanks for reminding me about the food!  I forgot to look around for it.  If I find it, I will let you know!

SBD is very similar to the Core plan of Weight Watchers.  I did lose quite a bit on SB a few years ago.

Its a great "kickstart" for anyone who hasn't tried it.  Many people stay on the maintenance part of the program for life, with great success.

Its actually a very healthy plan, low fat, high protein, lots of veggies, and once you are out of the first 2 weeks, it includes fruits and complex carbs (at least that's the way I remember it).

Thanks, Suzi for bringing this up!
