So I just want to see what you all think of the lap-band?
I dont love them, I have seen some of my friends have them and they gained the weight back.
I had a gastric bypass, where they "re-do the plumbing" and I have had better luck. I have kept off one hundred pounds as compaired to my friends who have now gained it back.

I think its ok but only if you really need it!! its one of those last resort options! the lap band also has to be tightened and loosed according to what you need so make SURE your dr knows how to do it (some do NOT) and if he doesnt you may be in major pain and having to drive 2hrs to a dr who knows whats up!!
