You could try even cutting back on your soda if going cold turkey is too difficult. For some, that can work wonders! If you drink 3 cans a day, cut back to 2 cans a day for a week, then cut back to one, then have one can every other day.
This kind of cutting back is actually fun to do, crazy as it sounds. It makes the soda more of a treat and therefore more enjoyable. Maybe use it as a reward. If you exercise 3 days in a row, you can drink a can of soda.

I used to like cola drinks, now I get the fizzy water with a hint of fruit. I now prefer it, its got to be healthier than all that caffeine too!
Switch to water. Add a slice of lemon to give it a "kick". Unsweetened tea, with a lemon slice is okay too.
