I agree with Brice,

However, there are a lot of online diet calculators that can tell you (after you've typed in your gender, age, height, weight, activity level, and goal weight) what your caloric deficit should be each day in order to drop a certain amount of weight.

10 lbs in a month (if there are 4 weeks) amounts to roughly 2.5 lbs a week. Generally speaking it is more healthy to lose closer to 1-1.5lbs a week. In addition to taking in less calories you would have to increase your calorie burn... that means exercising. This will be particularly difficult for those with a busy lifestyle but who work at an office job and aren't very active. It will mean more than, say, walking for 30 mins everyday.

Even if you are successful at losing 10lbs in a month... unless you make those changes part of your life you will gain them back.

I hope you take full advantage of all the resources on this website versus just the forums and wish you the best of luck!

Weight loss depends on a lot of factors and there really isn't a chart that will assure you of losing 10, 15, 20 pounds in one month.  The key to weight loss is pretty simple but needs to be kept in perspective.  First of all, you didn't get to the weight that you are now over night, so it will take a bit of time to get it off.

Calorie intake, water intake, exercise, sleep can all have a determining factor when it comes to weight loss.  You'll also find that as much as what you eat, when you eat is also important.  Each persons furnace is different.
