When did you start seeing results?

My name is Kelsey, I'll be 22 as of Monday the 17th and my natural BMR is 1660. My calorie budget on here is 1320.  My goal is to walk everyday, gradually working up to running. My walks so far are 15-35 minutes starting so far in the 3.0+ mph range. This food journal app says that I will lose .6 lbs a week if I follow the calorie budget. Yesterday from taking two walks I actually had 350 budget leftover and ate 1255 calories in total without feeling starved. If I keep this up, could I lose more than .6 a week? Also, did you see the scale drop per week or gradually every few days? What has been your experience with food journaling and did you find walks to be successful?

Sorry for the length :(

You may not be seeing results, because you aren't eating enough calories.  Women should not go below 1200 calories/day.  When you go too low, your metabolism actually slows down in order to preserve stores of fat, because there isn't enough food coming in.

Its only been three says for me and I've lost 1.4 which is clearly due less water retention but I'm happy. Keep me post Anne35 :)

I've not long started my walks doing 5k walks three times a week, I am 82kg in weight just now and not yet lost any weight even though keeping within the calories set of 958 per day. I will keep you posted but patience is the key! If it's not working right now doesn't mean it won't happen.. ;-)
