Should I loose Weight?

I am a 16 year old girl, I'm about 5'5" and 130 pounds. I am having a lot of trouble dealing with my weight. I am the captain of my highschool track team and I row on a club crew team. I have been dieting since I've been 13; I stay away from all fatty foods and all desserts. However, I still struggle with my body image and my weight.  All of my friends who never would dream of dieting and don't exercise as frequently as I weigh 10 pounds or less. It is quite embarassing when we talk about weight because I always seem to be the heaviest one. I don't know what else to do. Please give me some advice.

by avoiding certain  "bad" foods everyday you are just setting yourself up for failure, eat what you want in moderation you dont want to develop a bad relationship with food at such a young age( trust me please trust me) you run track and sound like you are very healthy-also think of where all this need to diet or "control" is coming from - school, home peer pressure-seriously no body want to look the same as their friends- you are what you are- so stand out and be proud-lol!

U may have a higher muscle mass than your friends that do not exercise regularly. Muscle weighs more than fat. If you are truly concerned see a DR. and have him determine if your BMI (body mass index) is healthy. You should be very careful dieting. Your body is still growing and restricting calories could be very dangerous. Be smart and Be healthy.
