Try some yoga; it's one of the best forms of exercise there is and it's great for toning muscles. Makes you feel "long and lean".
Walking and dancing are both good, as well.
Aim for, at least, 30 minutes/day 5 days/week.

I'm 24 now bu when I was around ur age I jus wanted to tone also n feel better. Honestly u don't need an exercise plan. Just start by walking or dancing, also do the types of exercises u enjoy but not vigorously or u will lose weight. Stretch before cardio and an elliptical workout. If u don't have access to a gym u can buy small weights and use them at home. But I really recommend dancing or some kinda of sport u can practice alone or with friends. Create your own plan but don't go easy on yourself lol. Have fun with it, hopefully my advise is of some help to u idk if u prefer a prof response. But goodluck.
P.s. I forgot the name of this exercise but when u take a big step forward with one leg and squat low with ya back knee almost touching the floor, with ur hands on ur hips. Then repeat with the other leg, yea those really wrk to tighten up.
