Hi!
In the past i had exactly the same broblem with you and that was because of lot of stress i had and my doctor also confirmed this.
But dont warry my grandma used to say that oily skins never get old..!! (i think because of more hydration) ; )
Thanks to everyone!
The doc says not to worry about it. The drastic changes in diet & the high amount of stress is likely to be the cause. He said that if the stress goes away & the acne doesn't we will talk about it again.
On the non-doctor advice, I learned that letting your face become too dry will actually cause it to produce more oils than normal. I have always washed my face, but I've never used mosturizer before. So now I am & it seems to help a lot. ^_^
are you going to a gym or have access to a sauna? i have heard they help get the toxins out of your skin and make it better! I know after i come out of it and wash my face down it feels incredibly soft! and one of the girls says it made a HUGE difference in her sever acne! What kind of cleanser do you use also? the only thing that keeps my skin good without breakouts is Apricot scrub! i just use the cheap kind but seriously i can use my clearsil one and within a few days i ll be breaking out!
It's not always "toxins" that cause break outs. Maybe your hormone levels are changing for some reason; could be reproductive, thyroid, adrenal or anything else within the endocrine system.
I would suggest that you talk to your doctor about this.
I think your friends may be right - your body is at least readjusting to the current food intake and is balancing things up - give it a month or two to settle back down - in the meantime jsut make sure you are drinking lots of water to keep the system flushed x
