My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago, then I took an emergency contraceptive.
Being stupid, we had unprotected sex once again just friday, and now it is monday. I was late on my period (most likely from taking the contraceptive) and thought i started yesterday but its just light spotting. Im sure I'm going to be pregnant after having unprotected sex again, but I really hope not. Can anyone help me out with some knowledge from reading this? I'm scared :( like why am i spotting? ughhhhhhhh :( :( :( :( :( :'''(

Spotting can be a side effect from the morning after pill. The pill can also make your period come sooner or later than normal and can make it lighter or heavier than normal. It can also make you feel nauseous, bloated, give you cramps, headaches, dizziness, and so on. Try not to stress yourself out. As Clysta said, wait 2 weeks from the last time you had sex and take a home pregnancy test for first morning urine, which is the most concentrated. Then you can use this as a big learning lesson to always use some form of birth control in the future. Take care.

Yes you can be--- you need to wait at least 2 weeks since you last had sex and take a pregnancy test with first morning urine. You need to look into birth control as well as condoms to prevent pregnancy.
