2 days after Canesten 3-day treatment, no change

I'm 22, and this is my second yeast infection. My symptoms are clumpy, cottage cheese-like discharge that has no odour, and vaginal itchiness and tenderness.

So, I finished the Canesten 3 day vaginal pill treatment Saturday night and this morning I went to get a shower, noticing my infection hadn't improved at all. Am I to expect it gets better within the 7 days that it says on the box? The last time I had a yeast infection was a few years ago and I can't recall what happened.

Any and all HELP would be appreciated. Past experiences from anyone who has had the same problem are also welcome.

Hi,

I had what i thought was a yeast infection a few months ago and took the oral pill, a few days later I showed no signs of improving so I went an got the canesten vaginal pill and cream. I started to feel a little bit better but not back to normal. As soon as i has sex a few days later i was as bad as ever so i went to see the doctor. I was told i had a water infection and was given antibiotics and i have been fine ever since.

It may be worth a trip to the doctors as I too had a lot of discharge with no odour and I was very sore and itchy so i was suprised to find out a water infection could make me feel the same way.
