2 week period
I have had my period for 2 weeks now. My periods are usually very heavy and last about 8-9 days but now I am on day 14. I thought my period was ending, because it went down to just spotting and brownish in color, but now it is bright red again.
Thanks, I have a call in to talk to her. I have discussed my heavy periods with her before but they have never lasted this long. I am waiting for her return call but I am really worried so just hoping for some advice in the meantime. I tend to think the worst! :(

Hi there. Gosh, that sounds uncomfortable. That's a LONG period. I think you need to see your doctor. In general, your period lasts longer than what is considered "normal' and going on to 14 days is definitely something to talk to your doctor about. I'm wondering about fibroids.
