It happens so just laugh it off. My partner doesn't even mention it, it's whatever. Plus if it is with someone you love it really doesn't matter. If your man has a problem with it then forget him and move on. Gaining control of your core muscles can help because you get less sagging i.e. less air but if your like me I'm not really thinking about keeping my core strong during intercourse. Another thing you could do is put on some music or turn on a louder fan this will help drown out the sound.

Hey! Here's a thought that has worked for me. After my husband's back went out some time ago we got a pair of those wedge shaped firm foam cushions for the bed so he could sit up comfortably during recovery. Turns out, you can set two of these together in just the perfect way (both "points" facing forward on the bed in the same direction like two slices of cake) for you to lean over on top of during doggy style. This supported my tummy parts and kept everything from "sagging" and creating the suction that tends to cause vaginal air. I know this may sound a tad awkward, especially for you young swimsuit model types LOL. But, hey, it is really not that much bother to stack a pair of pillows when you are about to have some fun. Actually we did it more for novelty and comfort for me, and I didn't really think about the "air" thing at the time, but upon reflection, I realised that may have been why my cootchie was so uncharacteristically 'silent' during this particular lovemaking configuration! I too have tended to be a bit noisy during the better bits of the performance, and your thread has inspired me to go find those cushions from the closet, pop the covers in the wash, and try again this weekend!! Hmm.. might need to add some appropriate adult beverage to the grocery list as well! Sorry if I seem to sound nonchalant about your concerns, but if you can't turn a worry into a chuckle, or at least a smile, I fear you won't make it through the really bad stuff. Cheers! Ali

I too have the same problem and it is really hard for me to feel comfortable and relaxed bacause I know it is coming.  It is only in the doggy style position for me also, and of course that is my partners favorite position.  He never says anything when it happens but I tell him he is pumping me full of air, which at times is what it feels like is happening.  I wish there was a solution other than not having sex doggy style!  It is comforting to hear though that other women have the same problem.......I thought it was just me!

You ladies are spot on! Doggy has gravity working on your midsection, pulling everything down (unless you are a Ralph Lauren Model and can levitate your arse off the bed by being so skinny!!). This creates a moving vacuum pump that draws air in, and sends embarassing noises out for you to enjoy. The only good thing about it is it can add levity and fun to lovemaking if you're not too self-conscious (which I sometimes can be). Sigh. Good news it happens to all of us, as kaylerson so rightly states and is not anything medicine needs to fix!

Its normal.. I wouldnt say u can completely prevent it, especially with a position like the doggy style. I tell my partner not to pull out and put back in too much, because that invites air and that farting noise.

i dont care who you are that has to happen to every woman at least once.  It's virutally impossible to control and I have found that if I am in the doggie style position it happens more often than any other position.

LOL I know this is embarrassing. It happened right after my husband and I finished and it was a good laugh we both had. Im guessing the only way to get rid of it is to not let that much air get up there. I wouldn't let it bother me too much. Just laugh it off next time. Chalk it up to the fact that you had a good time.
