Almost there but not yet! :(

Help!!!!

On the 6th day of my cycle the condom broke before he could orgasm.. just to be safe I had an emergency pill within 12 hours and had irregular bleeding a week later last 2 -3 days ( 11th day of my cycle)

Now I'm 2 weeks + late on my regular cycle.. bloated... constant feeling of getting my periods but nothing turns up!!

took number hpts but all negative although 1 test came faint positive at the clinic.

The gyn prescribed a 3 day norethisterone to induce periods and to come back in 4 days to take another test.

In the meantime I have taken a beta HCG which gave a level 2 which is negative.. I've been getting cramps since 2 days into norethisterone and the doc i should get my periods within a weeks time.... Ive got dark yellow urine with occasional threads

not sure what should i do!!! I just need my periods to come already

Thanks specialmom! I'm keeping the BFs hands off me now until this gets sorted...! i just hope i didnt ovulate out of a normal cycle.. ive never tried to track my ovulation cycle but i guess i will start doing this now!! any suggestions how? should it just be the home test?

Also, out of 10 upts I had 1 faint positive... can a HCG blood test ever be wrong? my cramps & bloating have slowed down today somehow.. but have a very faint backache now.. could this be because my 3 days norethisterone course got over 2 days back?

Hi there.  I really think your body is just reacting to the morning after pill.  Where were you at in your cycle when the condom broke?  Okay, just read the 6th day.  For most people, that would be early to end in conception.  If you ovulated around day 14-----  it would be unlikely sperm could live THAT long.  Never say never, but that is most unlikely.  We become 'most' fertile where sperm can live until we ovulate at around cycle day 9.  That is just fyi to ease your mind (not to make you think unprotected sex at any time during your cycle is really safe).

Since you took the emergency pill which is a doses of hormones, I'd say you are just out of whack and will start your period soon.  VERY important to use protection now because you are now irregular and don't know when you'll ovulate.
