vaginal canker sores?

I am 21 years old and I have multiple vaginal lesions that look like canker sores all in one area and I'm not noticing any abnormal discharge it's just the sores. I have no clue where they came from or even how. I've had the same sexual partner for the past 3 months or so now and this has never happened before and I know he hasn't been with anyone else considering we're together almost 24/7 and when we aren't then we're at work. Does anyone know if maybe it's created by small tears from maybe being overaly sexually active? Because thats really all I can think of because we had sex almost every night for about 3-4 days and the next day I had these. I've been reading through similar posts about this for the past 2 hours and all it's really done is confused me seeing as everyone who said they went to doctors never came back afterwards to clarify what they had or how their gyno said to get rid of it and then others kept saying that their gynos just had no idea what it was and kept diagnosing it as random other things. On top of eople throwing out the herpes comment like crazy but I feel it has nothing to do with that. Does anyone know of any creams or meds or anything to help get rid of this? Would Campho Phenique be OK to use? It has me to the point of tears! Please help!? :(

Astroglide is the best water based lubricant. You can use condoms with it with no worry of tearing. And since islets water based you might have to apply more frequently, but it's much easier to clean up. Try putting more on you, not just him. It'll be less painful.

So my tests came back positive, I am blown away about this and so upset. I didn't have any of the other symptoms that went with herpes...im not even sure how I got them. :'(

At this point I am freaking out, I really wish the test results would come I'm already cause I need to get this figured out. Thank you for helping I will definitely keep that in mind, if it does happen to be that is HSV1 hard to deal with? I've never had these kinds of problems before I'm usually a very careful person....

You wouldn't necessarily know if it was herpes. Tons of people have very minor cases of HSV that go undiagnosed for decades. 1 in 4 women have HSV genitally and some estimates say up to 80% of Americans get cold sores. With the prevalence of oral sex in today's world, HSV1 (cold sore type) accounts for about half of all new genital cases.

From what it sounds like, you may have found yourself in the same position I was 4 years ago. I also googled vaginal canker sores. In my case, my partner of 2 years gave me oral sex and that gave me HSV1 vaginally. It's the same virus that gives ppl cold sores, but its still herpes. I know you at probably freaking out (I did), but if you need any advice or have questions I would be more than happy to help.

So she told me that it looks like herpes, they are running the test now and she gave me the meds for that. However, I am very doubtful that's what it is because O don't have any of the other symptoms for herpes and from all of the older posts about this that I've read on here everyone was told the same thing just for the results to come back negative and their doc to be stumped and that's how they ended up posting on here.....

True....but its a bit odd I have a few more than I did in the beginning now :( so I'm going to the gyno tomorrow to see what my doctor has to say about it as well...because now I'm just worried and need a piece of mind...plus its about that time to go in there anyways.

Thing is...we've never had to use a lubricant in the past. This is the first this has ever happened....we were a bit rougher than normal but no actual issues that lubricant was needed....so I'm thinking it had more to do with the roughness more than anything.....
