Dark brown vaginal discharge instead of period

I had protected sex 4 days after my period in early January and this month instead of my normal period, I had dark brown, clumpy vaginal discharge. I still had my normal symptoms except I had brown discharge and little to no blood. I'm curious as to why and am scared I'm preganant.

Well, I'd guess not based on the fact that you used protection.  But condoms can fail. Things can happen.  I don't think you are, really, I don't.  Timing was off as well for conception as well based on your information.  But, you an take a test to rule pregnancy out and see what happens next period due.  good luck
