BV or Trich? Help!!
So this is kind of a long story...
For some background information I have never had any sort of vaginal issues in the past even with having unprotected sex, not going pee after having sex, and I have never had a UTI, yeast infection or anything. I didn't have sex for over a year and a half and started having sex again recently. About a week after having sex with my new partner, all of a sudden one day I got the sharpest pain ever when going pee. It didn't stop and I just figured it was a UTI or something. I began taking AZO UTI tablets and the pain never subsided. I then moved on to AZO yeast tablets and that didn't work either. So I finally got the pain to subside after going pee immediately after having sex, that's what makes me think my partner might have something because if I don't pee right afterwards, I have pain but when I pee directly after I'm fine. So anyways, I got the pain to go away and I thought that everything was going back to normal and I was free again. But now, the pain has been replaced with the WORST vaginal odor and discharge, yellowish at times. I have tried vaginal gels which make the odor go away sometimes, but then there's other days where the odor is so bad and there's nothing I can do to fix it. The odor is especially strong when I'm having sex and it makes me so insecure with myself. I'm really stuck and don't know how to get rid of it..if anyone has had a similar issue please help!!! I'm not sure if it's an STD or BV or what...

I was having the same symptoms, just no pain. My discharge was white and after sex sometimes yellowish. I started having and odor, I decided to go get checked and it was BV. I’m still waiting on results for any other . Hopefully in a couple of days but I’m so desperate. I was told that I could possibly also have Chlamydia. The wait is killing me, but for now I’m taking metronidazole 500 to get rid of the BV, twice a day. I’m on day 3, the odor is gone and almost no discharge but I can still see white inside.

I was also wondering if it could possibly be Chlamydia as well?? I've read that BV sometimes comes back after being treated with antibiotics, let me know if that happens to you!
