Burning Pain in Bikini-line area?

I'm a clean, healthy 18 year old. I've never had sex and every time the pain appears, it's usually not during my period (if it does appear, it's mostly because of the pads I wear and the material rubs the skin raw). It's more of a stinging/burning type feeling. It lasts usually for a few hours especially after I'm on my feet a lot. I don't think it could be sweat but I know some tight clothing could be an issue. Even then, it's hard to wear loose underwear because it stings. I'm not sure if it's discharge combined with my underwear rubbing the skin raw or if it's something else. Usually it's a little red, maybe a slight darker pink than my skintone. Usually it's just one sort of "large" bump that looks to be causing the pain (sort of like the bump from a new mosquito bite that's barely there but you can still feel it).

Hi,

You might be experiencing chaffing, and/or razor burn (that is, if you shave or wax) along your bikini line. Chaffing can be caused by sweat or moisture that doesn't  dry quickly enough, and constant friction. Try wearing cotton underwear when possible, and use an anti-chaffing powder or gel (sold at most stores in the medicine aisles). Sometimes sporting goods stores carry anti-chaffing products also. If you don't see any improvement soon, have it checked out by your doctor.
Good Luck :)
