Ablation is not a form of birth control. When doctors warn women that they should not have an ablation if they ever want to get pregnant again, it is not because it isn't possible, it is because it is dangerous to the point of being life-threatening. A lot of women hear this as "don't have an ablation if you ever want to have babies because it will prevent you from getting pregnant." But it won't, an egg can still get fertilized and try to implant. But it won't have any uterine lining to burrow into, and can burrow into your uterine muscles, and cause bleeding and other problems, and problems (sometimes fatal) for the baby.
SO, long and short of it is, if you think you have pregnancy symptoms and you have had an ablation, see the doctor or at the least, do a pregnancy test. It would be a serious issue if you are.
To that, I"m not sure. You certainly do not have any real cycle though with ovulation followed by the lining being cleared out on a trackable regular way. Can you ask your ob/gyn about this? Some women do have babies after ablation but it is not common and can have complications. So talk to your doctor.
