Can my boobs really have grown overnight?

OK, somewhat random question\story here that I just have to ask because I have no idea what's going on and was curious if anyone else experienced anything similar.

I swear my boobs have grown about 1\2 a cup size overnight! I put on one of my favorite bras this morning and could nearly not even get my boobs in it. My cleavage (which when I normally wear this bra) comes together but not tight or smushed together. Well today its tight together and smushed together because I had to shove my boobs in my bra this morning. I washed this bra and let it air dry about a week or so ago. I wore it once last week since washing it and it fit like it always has. So today was the second time I've worn it since washing it and like I said above it was a struggle to get my boobs in it.  So the bra hasn't shrunk and I can rule that out. My boobs have not shrunk since this morning either.

I searched online and the answers always seem to be that this could have happened BC of significant weight gain or pregnancy. Mine is not because of either of these. My weight is holding steady...at most in the past few months I may have gained a couple of pounds but my weight fluctuates but any fluctuation is always under 5 pounds. So no significant weight gain. I know with 100% certainty that I am not pregnant. (My bf and I broke up end of last year and haven't slept with anyone since). So no possibility of it being BC of pregnancy.

My only possible guess is due to my period which started yesterday. However my boobs have not been the tiniest bit sore at all and I've never noticed this in any previous periods where my boobs grew overnight.

Any ideas what else it could be or is it most likely my period? I'm in my late 20's and I am not on any form of birth control and haven't been since December so it is not from the pill. I'm all for having big boobs (BC mine were before this overnight growth spurt) I'm just really curious about why it happened.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you! That's good to know....I'm curious to see if once my period ends they'll go back to the size they were a day ago. Lol.

Could be hormonally related to your cycle.  My grandma would have to have two separate sets of bras: one for when she was on her period and a whole cup size larger and one for regular days.
