I added my response to your other post, but I'll add more here.
I had this done in the 90s. Yep - that long ago. I'll try to remember everything, but it's been awhile. :)
I don't remember how long the discharge lasted, but I remember it was gross, and however long it lasted, my doctor was not alarmed.
I didn't have sex for however long they told me to, and didn't have a regular partner, so I didn't have any orgasms.
I was fine after. No complications. Had my follow paps after - I had mild dysplasia - and at 3 months and 6 months and a year, they were all normal. We didn't have HPV testing back in those days, so I assume I had HPV, but don't know for sure.
I didn't have kids, but I also had severe endometriosis, and couldn't for that reason, not because of cryosurgery.
I can think of 4 or 5 women that I know that have had cryosurgery and none have had complications. If you look hard enough on the internet, you can find anything to fulfill your fears. It's good you are trying to balance that out with success stories. :)
You mention mental health struggles. If you have a therapist, now would be a great time to contact them. If you don't have one, now would probably be a great time to find one. Health challenges can really affect mental health, and mental health is just as important as your physical health. :)
