Could a doctor please explain this diagnosis?

Hello,

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with the following:
TSH - 4.26
LH  - 14.36
prl - 10.19

usg - multisepate cyst
       multiple small
       left ovary enlarged

I would be grateful if a medical professional can explain to me what the above means, since we are very concerned about my friend's health. I know it is very little information, but I just want to know what we can deduce from it. My friend is 16 years and female.

Thanking you in advance!

Hello,

This is a patient to patient forum, therefore there are no doctors who post here.  If your friend is not able to speak to her doctor about the results, you might try posting this question in the expert Gynecology forum.  You could also post in the Cyst forum.  There are no doctors who post there, either, but the ladies there might have a better answer for you than we can since this forum deals with ovarian cancer.

Best wishes and good health to your friend!  She's lucky to have you on her side!
