Hi all,
I'm experiencing this dull, aching lower belly and lower back cramping about 8 days after my period ended, had sex about 2 days after period finished (6 days ago). My cycle is not regular. Was wondering if these cramps could be me ovulating or implantation cramping?
There's not much you can do about the discharge other than wearing a panty liner so your underwear don't get wet. As far as the pain goes, generally using ibuprofen or a hot water bottle or heating pad applied to the area will help ease this. Hopefully this is helpful for you.
Dear Gina,
Thank You very much. Just a little worried as never had this cramping or slight pain in my lower back, but I do have thicker discharge when I always ovulate. My PMS symptoms are always varying from period to period. Certain months its back pain, cramping or sometimes its pimples on my back, face and thighs or swollen breast or very very bad diarrhoea. Symptoms like leg pain also occur after my period is over. I've tried many ways to alleviate the symptoms but its still the same :(( any suggestions? Thank You Gina.
Generally, if your periods are regular, you ovulate midway through your cycle. If your cycle is 28 days, you would ovulate on day 14 from the day you start your period. Since you said you somtimes have cycles that are less than 28 days and this is day 12 from when you started your period, it is possible that you are ovulating. Some women don't notice when they ovulate. Other will notice an egg white like discharge and/or have some pain or cramping in their ovary area. It sounds like ovulation is definitely a possibility here.
