Forced marriage and pregnancy

Dear net buddies,

My girl friend was married against her will. She took glycosid pills a day before leaving. She lived with her unwanted "husband" for 3 days. She denies any sexual relationships. She is of the view that by taking glycosid pills, bleeding started and that is why no sex happened. Was it possible? If not then why she took tablets.

sex can happen even when you have your period.... only cultural norms would prevent it.  There are many communities in the world that consider a woman 'unclean' during this time and a sin to have sexual relations with them until it is over.  sorry i cant help more... i dont know what glycosid pills are. just be happy for her that she is no longer in that terrible situation.
also if she took pills to induce a period, well she should go see a gynecologist to make sure everything is alright. its not healthy to do that.
