Gooey, stringy discharge- I'm only 16.

Ok. So I looked all of this up and all I've came across is you get it when you're pregnant which makes me scared. I've had sex with my boyfriend but we used protection.
It appears to be whenever I go to the toilet this long, stringy, gooey, egg-white discharge comes out but I have to wipe it off. It won't just fall off. But I know that's a lot of detail. But I'm scared and I thought there might be help on here.

I had sex about a month ago with him but we definitely used protection.
I do kinda feel bloated sometimes and I feel like I'm getting fatter but could it just be me getting paranoid?

Thanks.

your best bet is to take a pregnancy test and see if you are pregnant or not.. It's scary but the sooner you take it the better it will be. You can take free ones at a planned parenthood in your area. Then either way the test turns out you need to see your gynecologist and they can run a biopsy on the discharge and tell you what it is as well as a pap smear. It's scary but hang in there you will get through what ever this is. the first step is finding out what you have to deal with then after that it's going to be ok.

Your discharge sounds normal and healthy in colour, I do get discharge like that myself with it seeming gooey and stringy, this seems more apparent when I am near ovulation, and mentioned this to my doctor at my smear test, she told me that it was fine and everything was ok with my results.

Unless it changes in colour or becomes clumpy looking I wouldn't worry.

Hope this helps

It usually happens around ovulation. So make sure you use protection around this time, because this iis your most fertile time of the month.
