IUD & Heavy Bleeding - When to Call?

I have a paraguard IUD and am going thru an overnight pad about every hour - 1 1/2 hours.  I have been bleeding heavily since Sunday, and bleeding on Saturday just not heavy.  The past 2 days it wasn't this much, but it was quite a bit (every 2 -3 hours).  Should I call the doctor or does this sound normal?  This is my 2nd period with the paraguard in.

Thanks!

Well, the past few days I have been feeling tired but I just thought I was getting the flu.  Maybe I will call and ask.  Thanks!

Definitely call and ask. You could develop anemia pretty quickly at that rate. Are you feeling tired and light-headed? Keep up on your fluids (not coffee or sodas) and take a multivitamin to help out a bit. Hope you feel better soon.
