Important

I just got on my period, or at least I think it's my period. I'm bleeding heavy and I have bad cramps (pain killers don't help much), back pain, pressure on my lower back, and fatigue. I was also trying to get pregnant and still am but it might have been too early to detect with a pregnancy test. What could this be? A miscarriage, my period, or something else?

HI there.  Welcome.  It very well could be a heavy period or you could be passing a simple cyst.  I've passed one before and the cramps were much worse than typical menstrual cramps.  It did pass during my period so it was all tied into one.  Painful!

Or yes, you could be having a chemical miscarriage or very early miscarriage.  This does happen.  I'm sorry if that is the case as you are trying to get pregnant.

I do wish you the best of luck.  If either the bleeding or cramping increase or gets unbearable, please do contact your doctor.  peace and luck to you

Thank you so much. It stopped the 13th so I'm not too sure if it was either one. I did not get a chance to go to the doctors though but when I do go, I'll run it by them to see.
